Our Mission

  Our mission at AYWO is to grow wrestling within Alabama and beyond through: 


  • hosting and promotion of competitive events
  • providing support for and effective communication with sanctioned clubs, coaches, referees, athletes and their families 
  • and, most importantly, to instill the values of good sportsmanship, respect, discipline, and family within our communities
